Markers

Drop your recording to place the markers, check them, then download.

The times above are guesses scaled from the setlist. Drop your recording here and the page listens to it, finds where each song really starts, and fixes every marker. Nothing is uploaded; the file is read right here in your browser.

Drop your recording here
WAV only for now. One file for the whole show, or the recorder's chunks together (they sort by name).

Advanced: Terminal tool (FLAC input, trimmed set files, per-track files)

Same analysis, run on your Mac from Terminal. Needed for FLAC, or to have it also cut the audio into set or track files. Three steps: hand the tool your setlist, run it, bring the answer back.

1
Save the setlist for the tool

Saves ph…_snapjob.json to your Downloads folder. This is just your setlist for the tool, not something to import.

2
Run the tool on your recording (Terminal)

To get the path: in Finder, right-click the file, hold ⌥ Option, choose Copy “…” as Pathname, paste here. If the recorder split the show into chunks, paste them all, separated by spaces, in order.

(fill in the two boxes above)

Open Terminal (⌘ Space, type Terminal), paste, press Return. First run installs its own bits (about a minute); after that a full show takes about 30 seconds. When it finishes it prints Wrote … .snapped.json.

3
Bring the answer back

Pick the file ending in .snapped.json. It sits next to your snap job (Downloads, unless you moved it).

Snap column: ✓ found the gap · ~ found something, check it · ! no gap (segue), kept the guess. Then Download Markers as usual.

Set start / end times

Found automatically when you drop the recording. Only touch these if a set starts or ends in the wrong place (a near-silent intro can fool the tool): type the time of the first note or the end of the last note, then re-snap. Anything you type wins.

Fetch a setlist in Step 1 first.
